Creationism vs. The Big Bang Part II

One thing I hear and even used myself growing up when arguing the case for creationism was how perfectly distanced the sun and moon was from us to be able to inhabit this earth, it had to have been placed that way for us. My view on that has done a 180. The way I see it now is BECAUSE of the positioning of the sun and moon that the Earth was able to produce life and produce it in the way that it did.

Another thing is the complexity of life. How could such complex beings happen by “accident”? Again, in the unfathomable amount of time that has gone by that since the moment of the big bang and the moment the simplest organisms came into being, there has been plenty of time for them to evolve into the organisms around today.

      • God did it, except that god is just infinitely complex, so the chances of god existing, according to this argument, are pretty much zero. 😉

Anyway, as soon as someone confused “evolution” with “happening randomly” you know, every discussion is pointless.

      • Mutant,

That only confusion here is that which exists in the mind of the atheists present.

In the primordial soup from which life sprang there was a tremendous amount of randomness.

Evolution is an observable process that shows the development from disorder to order, that is the least sophisticated to the most sophisticated.

The atheist has yet to tell anyone how disorder knows how to organize itself into more order.

If fact such a notion goes against the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics which states that in a closed system, order falls into disorder.

All atheist dogma goes against not only common sense, but the seminal findings of science, all of which point directly to the existence of God.

Whose got time for life and the universe. I’m still trying to figure out how you manage to use a keyboard.

      • som, I would not characterize you as a distraction. Well, at least not in a negative sense. You’re highly amusing, like a circus clown.

Oh, I do agree with you regarding your irrelevance.

      • Roger,

Way back when, a chimpanzee signed the exact same thing about Einstein.

I guess the chimp became upset because the great scientist didn’t give him a banana treat.

Your god, som, you should grow up, or, well… I’m gonna stick with you grow up.

  1. lim (energy+matter) = life
    (order→∞)

As order approaches infinite, life occurs.

A characteristic of life is order.

We know from philosophy that God exists at the limit of infinite, i.e. God is infinite beauty, infinite good, infinite power, infinite knowledge, etc.

We know from information theory that infinite order does not exist naturally. That is, infinite order indicates intelligence.

Consequently, the existence of life, according to science, is the result of God.

    • Your “God” is infinitely good huh? Either you have a distorted definition of the word good or you are deaf, dumb, and blind.

Also, where does god come from?

      • unchurchable,

There’s no such think as “my” God.

That is a religious idea introduced by the atheist into a discussion that has reason, science and a 2500 Western Heritage as its foundation.

Consequently, your comment is pure nonsense.

You can’t address the findings of science with atheist nonsense.

Try again and next time use the common worldview of science being used here, not the dystopian pre-modern barbarian worldview of atheism.

    • I’m assuming you saying there’s no such thing as your god means that you don’t believe in a god in the religious sense but rather that a god just created everything…I still ask, where did god come from?

I was not aware that Philosophy proved the existence of god either.

I would also like links to sources for the scientific evidence you have stated.

      • Unchurchable,

God is God of us all.

The barbarian atheist thinks like his brother pagan, that is, superstitiously.

Consequently, God becomes a pantheon of split personalities created in the image of the atheist.

Additionally, instead of staying on point, which is science, reason and facts, you continually try to change the subject to religion, which has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
